Michael Pellegrini

Michael is a classic example of a child trapped in an adult's body - and I use the word "adult" very, very loosely. With interests ranging from comic books and movies to theater and fine art, Mike has followed humble journalistic beginnings that have led to interviews, reviews, news write-ups and opinion - though it's ever changing - pieces covering those same interests. All of that brings us here, to a site where a community of like-minded geeks can inform the rest of the world on the topics we adore. And on the personal side of things, Michael squeezes time for his lovely wife and house full of dogs between all the comic reading and video game playing.

Abby Penning

Following in footsteps the likes of: Nora Ephron, Frances Fitzgerald and Eppie Lederer, Abby seeks to hone her opinion into a sharp and decisive tool used to inform and educate the masses - unless they don't agree, then she just beats them to death with it. Also a lover of pop-culture and friendly debates (arguments), Ms. Penning finds the world of modern entertainment so fascinating and compelling she can't contain her thoughts on what she consumes! Educated, articulate and opinionated, Abby's most distinguishing feature is her ability to work a minimum of 4 jobs for 80+ hours a week (Isn't that called work-a-holic?) When asked, "Why do you work so much, Abby?" she simply posed, "Who would do it better?" (Just kidding, I can't actually publish what she said.) Make sure to cruise her column, Ask Abby..., and to Contact Us with your questions for our thoughtful editor.

Article 16
Ted Willson

You read that right, Willson with two Ls. Ted's a special example of today's geek culture, he has the ability to digest media in almost any form and still - no matter how uplifting or positive - find a way to see the glass as half-full. That may sound like any other comment section troll, but Ted has the very rare ability to relay his cantankerous and crusty (the clown) view in an honest, compelling manner for others to debate. All jokes aside, Mr. Willson - Willsoooonnnnnnnnnn!!! - is a loving father whose adoration for all things Batman even led him to...wait, I think that's supposed to be a secret. Well, he's funny and grouchy and you should read his stuff...

Article 11
Vincent Glielmi

Vincent, whose love of geek culture, combined with a skill and passion for photography, has build a resume in the photo-art world with credits ranging from magazine features to gallery showings. Vinny's eye for art and distinguished taste for all things nerd related make him the perfect person to help shape the artistic vision of "on Fiction." On the more personal side, Vincent is a cultivator of mustaches, a lover of all forms of art - comic book, film and cosplay to name a few - as well as a more than capable BMX rider. Did I mention he's dead sexy?

Article 4
Tricia Pellegrini

Tricia was not born a geek. Her early years were filled with romantic comedies and Sex in the City. After an extraordinary person came into her life - her eyes opened to the land of the real - she combined her former entertainment interests with her new passion for nerd-couture. Add to that a stunning fashion sense and you get a woman (coveted in the nerd world) who can parlay a BAM! headband, Flash t-shirt and tube-socks into a near cosplay-esque outfit worthy of the most distinguishing geek-fashionista. When not marathoning comic book movies or Battlestar Galactica, Tricia volunteers for organ donation and domestic abuse organizations.

Article 4
William Dorn

William is a special sort. On the surface you may see a husband, father or just a man, but beneath those everyday layers is someone who's got to catch'em all... or kill'em all, depending on the game. William - who's also colored by nerd culture - has a passion for gaming, and when he wanted to take some time to share his experiences about his time down scope we made sure to listen. And you should too! When he's not grabbing sick headshots or putting down that annoying slide-shotgunner (Destiny fans know!), he's a proud poppa to Robert, Autumn, Sunni and Phoenix.
